BitSplash Software was founded in 2005. Our initial offerings were a range of utilities, from ones that helped with word games to improving mouse accuracy.

The creation of IMGrabber was the start of the current focus of the company. A PC based program for recording chat communication, IMGrabber was popular with parents and businesses for tracking activity on their computers.

In late 2005, IMGrabber.net was started as a web based version of the PC based IMGrabber. The ability to monitor multiple computers via a single web login was an important feature of IMGrabber.net.

In 2008, IMGrabber and several other applications were discontinued so we could focus on IMGrabber.net and related products.

In late 2009 BitSplash added professional consulting and contracting services to help businesses interested in leveraging Open Source technologies.
